Before you audition
If you haven’t auditioned before (and even for those seasoned performers) here are some things to think about before the audition.
- 1
Familiarise yourself with the whole play as well as the scenes supplied, that you will be using throughout the audition process.
- 2
If you are unsure of the pronunciation of words please look this up NOT with ChatGPT or any other chat bot. (We want to encourage thinking, not discourage!) Some links have been added below that you may find helpful.
- 3
Please take some time to understand what you are saying, what is happening in the scene and between the characters. We are not expecting you to be script down or performance ready, but we do expect you to have done the prep work required to be present in the scene. This is not a cold read situation.
